The Directorate of Early Childhood Education and Non-formal Education Teachers, General Directorate of Teachers, Education Personnel, and Teacher Education, organised a Technical Guidance Training of Trainers (ToT) activity for Prospective Instructors of Deep Learning Training for Early Childhood Education Teachers. This event will take place from June 10th to 16th, 2025, at the Grand Mercure Hotel Yogyakarta Adi Sucipto. One of the participants in this activity is Ayu Purnamasari, a PhD student in Elementary Education at the Faculty of Education, Yogyakarta State University, Class of 2024.
This activity aims to prepare national teacher candidates who will serve as facilitators in Deep Learning training at early childhood education units throughout Indonesia. Through this program, participants have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of child-centered, project-based learning concepts, and to foster critical and creative thinking skills.
During the seven-day implementation, participants attended various engaging sessions, ranging from theoretical presentations, learning practices, microteaching, group discussions, to reflection and reinforcement. The atmosphere of the activity was active, inspiring, and full of collaborative spirit.
Through this training, it is hoped that participants will be able to become inspiring and innovative trainers ready to disseminate Deep Learning practices to various regions, thereby strengthening the quality of early childhood education in Indonesia..
